A Laughter and Love Filled Plum Island Wedding

Weddings like this are exactly why we love what we do! A beach wedding ceremony on beautiful Plum Island in Newbury, MA. A wedding reception at historic Spencer Peirce Little Farm in Newbury, MA. Roxy's Grilled Cheese, Boston Burger Company & The Cookie Monstah food trucks serving treats from burgers and grilled cheese to tater tots and ice-cream sandwiches and one heck of a couple. This is the stuff wedding dreams are made of.
On an warm, blue sky June Saturday A & B each got ready in their own Plum Island beach house surrounded by their closest friends laughing, sharing old stories and enjoying the day. Brian & his groomsmen walked down the main street of Plum Island 3 blocks to see his beautiful bride at their first look. We sent Brian up to the roof top deck located 3 stories up with 360 degree views that matched any postcard out there but I can tell you with 100% certainty that his favorite view all day was that of his beautiful bride. It was heart melting moment when A & B saw each other for the first time that day. From that moment forward smiles never left their faces. There is a very special happens that is only seen as a bride and groom look at each other on the day of their wedding. It is just perfection.
After their first look B & A headed down to the beach have a perfect beach Plum Island wedding ceremony. Just before A walked down the sandy aisle with her farther a sailboat came across the horizon and seemed to anchor just perfectly in the background for them. A dear friend stood up and married them with a ceremony full of favorite stories and even a rap done by 2 of the wedding guest. To know Ally & Brian is to understand why this was just perfect. The ceremony concluded with wedding guests be shuttled into school buses and heading to a farm situated just a few miles away for a fun filled wedding reception.
Food trucks served grilled cheese, hand cut french fries and some of the best burgers around. Local beers were flowing, lawn games were played and lots of polaroids were taken! As the sun set on A * B's wedding day that smile that came across their face at their first look seemed to just grow larger as they danced the night away with their best friends and closest family around them celebrating their life together.
We had spent months planning their perfect day. We talked about wedding day weather, how to pull off a Plum Island beach wedding ceremony. We talked about how the food would be served, who the food trucks would be. Where the lawn games would be played during cocktail hour and making sure that horseshoes could be played because it was important to the bride's family. We talked about & planned a lot and it was all worth it. A few weeks after their wedding I met with the new Mr & Mrs in my downtown Newburyport, MA office and it was clear they were still glowing from their wedding day. They were so thankful and happy. It just melted my heart. Thank you again to B & A for sharing their special day with me. I had such an amazing time working with you and few laughs too.
